TRAINING OBJECTIVES
The courses aim to develop participants’ analytic and practical skills in a learning environment. This approach is based on the following elements :
  • Perfecting professional knowledge and know-how relative to environment-related fields.
  • An introduction to interdisciplinary professional approaches to environmental and development issues, integrating ecological, economic, and technological approaches.
  • In-depth training on the systems approach to sustainable development (reconciling economic development and environment protection); use of specific tools for analysing environmental issues at different spatial levels, case studies, etc.
  • Identifying the various actors concerned by environmental issues and building an understanding of the links between them: public and private bodies, elected bodies, NGOs, etc.
    Target audience
    Managers, engineers and technicians, both Tunisian and international, bodies concerned with environmental issues, members of local government, State and private-sector businesses, consulting firms, etc.

    Students and young university graduates, people undertaking professional retraining, etc.
    NB.
    Tunisian businesses may receive State funding to participate in the training courses. Environmental training is considered as part of the national business restructuring programme and attracts subsidies from the vocational training tax.
